About
There are websites, blogs, and studies galore in almost every niche of the fitness industry. So much so that all the information can be overwhelming on who to listen to, and who to ignore. Fitness Meme was started to help clear that up.
Fitness Meme was born out of the passion of one personal trainer(thats me Jason LaChance below) who not only wanted to learn from the best in the industry, but to also give back.

My vision for Fitness Meme has always been to cover the best of the best in the industry, and to keep other trainers up to date on whats important. It was inspired by reading news sites like TechCrunch.com and ESPN.com. If the technology and sports industries have sites covering them then why shouldn’t the fitness industry? For me it took years to finally get to know the names of who’s who in the fitness world, and I lost valuable time that I could’ve gained learning from these people. These aren’t the tv trainers or infomercial experts that you see in the mass media. These are the professionals that are really making a difference on an everyday basis, and who deserve a website devoted to them.
In addition to the fitness and nutrition industry there is a wealth of knowledge that those interested in this industry can benefit from and I will therefore be including reviews and information on business, marketing, lifestyle, motivation, technology, and more. I reserve the right to write about what I want to! If you are only interested in fitness then please pass over the posts on business or the latest self help book review.
Keep in mind that the views expressed here are my own, and I reserve the right to criticize or praise whoever or whatever I feel deserves it.
The trainers, coaches, and nutrition experts that are covered don’t write for Fitness Meme.
